The other stars are TigerWillow3 . I hope i can shoot this shell in a few days. I will post a video in this thread here :-)

Bobosan
VP, interesting that you crumple the glue soaked kraft strips. Does this allow easier application? I would think they might lay smoother on the shell.
Jakenbake
I believe it's mostly to break the paper down and allow the paste to soak into it more. Nice construction video as always VP!
VikingPyrotechnics
Thank you guys I crumble the paper to break the fibers down. This allow the paper to lay down smoother on the shell , and the paste can soak easier into to the paper. If you look at the finished shell, the surface is pretty smooth

JOPETES
Hello VikingPyrotechnics.
Sparx88
Cool, I got the bowtie idea now . That will work better for loud inserts as well I figure. Here in this video is a 3" with 1/4" pumped hardt green #5 around the equator on both halves and 5 .5 gram inserts...the delay on the inserts was too short and they kinda messed up the ring a bit, so placing them like you place the stars for a bowtie would take care of that. Getting the inserts to go off in the center is tricky with a ring I'm finding. http://youtu.be/BNCpUxxhLNg

FlaMtnBkr
In slow motion it almost looks like the blue gets a bit pale about halfway through the burn. I wonder if that was just the camera making an adjustment? But it looked very good! Both the shell and the color.
