Red star comp

I need a decent red star comp using these chems. Basically no strontium carbonate.

 

Charcoal

Sulfur

Potassium nitrate

Potassium perchlorate

Strontium nitrate

Parlon

Red gum

Dextrin

Sgrs

I might just wait to get strontium carbonate to make red stars

How did you plan on making them? Cut, rolled or pressed?

Is there any way you can get a hold of magnesium or magnalium? You have most of what you need, but mgal really helps red comps

Yeah if you had some magnalium, you'd be making great red stars. I'd suggest getting some 325 mesh.

parlon 18

mgal 18

titanium 13 *omitted for stars

redgum 8

 

Edit: oh you don't have magal, Just quickly read through the replys sorry. You will need some mgal to make some coloured stars for starters.

220 / 155 / 75 / 25/ 40

 

DIDN'T TEST MYSELF, copied from a list I have. Pretty sure that PVC may be replaced with Parlon, but exact amoun should be tested.

Strontium nitrate - 60%
Parlon or PVC - 20%
MgAl - 20%

Charcoal - 3%

Dextrin - 5%
