nwpyro Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Another hobby of mine that I have been into in a bit way recently... Been modifying the "Profile Paper Plane" (Search for it on youtube) and converting the wing design for use on composite wood/paper airplane. When it comes to paper planes, the Paperang is quite nice with light legal sized paper. The king of paper planes is the Omniwing. I waited years for the designer of the Omniwing to finally release the tutorials! Amazing paper airplane...
nwpyro Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) So, nobody in here into paper airplanes? Edit: Actually... More technically, paper gliders and paper/wood hybrid airplanes. Edited June 5, 2014 by nwpyro
FlaMtnBkr Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I haven't built one since school, but I did check out the website. And I do plan on making some but haven't yet. They do look pretty impressive and if I get one working I will report back. Thanks for the info.
BurritoBandito Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I tried my hand at the proto omniwing. It glided pretty well, but to be honest paper airplanes aren't really "my thing". I was going to try the advanced omniwing, but the website said that the guy has spent upwards of 4 hours on one wing, and the payoff just isn't enough for me to put that kind of work into it.
