Aluminum Powder storage

Just curious.
In lb's. What do you store your Aluminum Powder in?

Plastic container, metal, wood, etc?

For small amounts like that, most come in sealed plastic bags. I keep the metal powders in those bags and placed inside an airtight plastic container. Edited May 10, 2014 by nater

I'm using food supplement canisters for anything that wasn't in a plastic can when i got it. Some things, like metal powders, are double bagged, sealed with plastic clamps, and put in the canister. Other things, like KNO3, tend to go straight in to the canisters. In reality, it should all be double bagged, and it was from the start, but i got lazy. So far the only drawback i got is that some stuff smells like protein shakes.... Chocolate, vanilla... Those make me hungry when i "work" while strawberry, and such isn't really my thing, and is at best mildly pleasant smells.

 

I've mainly been using canisters made from high carbonated plastic, meaning, it's black. Not that sure if it makes a difference.

Spent metal cans with plastic lid works really well... but obviously something waterproof since I read aluminum powder is "dangerous when wet"...
