DeLormar Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Hello, I am new to this forum, but think that this information could be useful for some users and I haventseen this mentioned here so far. The firing system I am using is an open source system from Germany. You can find the informationon: www.skydirector.de The system is most complete wireless system with SMTP aso., all building plans and firmwareare on the website and allowed to use for everybody or parts can be ordered as well. The onlydisadvantage is, that that the page is in german, but google translate helps.
Dutchpyro Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Iam not too familiar with the system. In the past I have used primarily Pyrimate and Digital Nighthawk systems. Cheers

SUNpyro Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 This system seems to be okay. However it said that it is open source. i found no schematics and elevtronic info.
MrB Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I quote: As already mentioned, the entire system for each is released for use; all schematics, firmware and information about the communication protocol are available on this page. In addition, you will find a complete technical description of the system , user guides and other helpful instructions for building . However, please note in this context, the exact license terms . Yes, yes, i know. To easy. Nobody ever expects useful information on the first page, especially not in the first few blocks of text. Anyway, this looks like a great system, but it's to expensive to buy ready made, and to complicated for home building, as an amateur pyro. If it were amateur electronics, then perhaps... Thats probably why there isn't more talk in this thread.B!
