jaysgoh
Hello! Thannks! have been looking around for this website on Google and forum. In my suggestions list, I guess willow is the best, am I correct? Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks What do you all think Edited April 26, 2014 by gohjiejing
pyrojig
The prob is the bp needs to be milled together to get a intimate mixture ., You need to source a spark free media for this . Lead is the cheapest , followed by ceramic. Your will never get "thumping " bp with out milling it. WIllow and pine seem to be the best charcoals for your bp. The pine can be used for spark formation as well , so it is a 2-for-1. Edited April 26, 2014 by pyrojig
jaysgoh
I usually ball mill them separately and then take out the media and make it mix together. I known it's not sufficient but I do sift them and grind it with mortar and pestle too. It's lot of works, I have bought 1kg of 1cm lead balls. It should by here by June. I added into cart Willow - 7 kilograms Pine 3 kilo. It enough to for my life I guess
nater
How big is your milling jar? In my small mill which uses the 3lb jars from the Harbor Freight Tumbler, I use 5 lbs (2.3kg) of .40 cal lead balls (a little bigger than 1 cm). Are you sure you ordred enough lead? jaysgoh
I don't know how big but I can only put 450+-g of meal powder inside without media. I usually mill 200g and with media it's already more than hslf
jaysgoh
Never mind.. It's better more than less, I will add on another kilo of lead as China guy don't sell lesser than kilo of lead ball.
jaysgoh
My second batch of 200g I made earlier. I add 4 teaspoon of unknown wood charcoal inside and half teaspoon of atomised al. It burn faster than before and it don't have the bright al. Is my charcoal need to be add more to slow down the composition? I plan to use it for stars. Sparx88
I'm confused now. Maybe some symptoms of old age are creepin in a lil early. Whatever it is, it's refreshing to see sometimes that when you think you may be loosing your last few marbles to old memories of drink and play, something happens beyond understanding and you realize that all is not lost. Trying to make a chevette perform like a corvette is a dead horse. Unless turning isn't your style. And speaking of turning, and a consistent recipe, with NO unknown extras thrown in, or other experiments of such, ball millin with lead only, no steel, for a cohesive and well introduced set of chems and sticks, may get you thumpy good times. At a distance, and with a long connective device like a 100 ft 10/3 conductor extensive extensionating extension chord with that millin machine at the far end away from anyone and anything you happen to like while milling that BP comp for a couple of hours ya dig? And not graves, just the plan my man. Then when the need for stars happens, your set, now just use the recipes that you may have been directed to at your own risk. By the time you add dextrin and wet and roll or pump that comp the stars will burn slower than loose comp anyway. And no goofin around with this stuff, it takes getting bit just once like a Philippine cobra. Oh, almost forgot, I got a couple girlfriends out back named Pauline and Empress that say they are the fastest. I don't argue with them Edited April 27, 2014 by Sparx88
