kpknd Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 After successfuly trying two designs from the East PVC Rocket book with BP, I gave it a shot with the 65/35 sugar fuel, the first worked great and the rest blew their tops, (the forward bulkhead) and one of them with a larger nozzel. The only thing I can think of is that the one that worked was fired the same day, the rest fired two or three days later and where stored in a ziplock bag. I wonder if the grain might have shrunk during that time or maybe there where small cracks or voids caused from the hand drilling of the core. In theory, BP fuel is more powerfull than shugar fuel. I mixed it by sifting and shaking four or five times rather than just shaking as the instructions said, could that have something to do with it?
