Walmart isnt dere. I just hope to get a good company one. By the way, why did you use the word safer?
Nessalco Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 oops. Sorry. A coffee grinder has the motor and the blades all as one unit. Fine powders can migrate through the blade bearings and eventually ignite in the motors. Also, you can never get them really clean. The units that have the motor separate from the blades, and have multiple jars, make it possible to minimize cross-contamination. Kevin

Mumbles Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 You know, there's this fancy little thing under everyone's name that has a field for location.
hindsight Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Yep, Mumbles, there you are right above me and apparently above Ollie, also!
ollie1016 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 You know, there's this fancy little thing under everyone's name that has a field for location. I am on the mobile version on my iPhone, and the location information is not available. I'll have a look on the website later.
BurritoBandito Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) @Ollie1016: there is a button on the bottom of the page that changes the theme from mobile to the full version. I didn't notice at first either, but there is a lot missing from the mobile version. Edited February 23, 2014 by BurritoBandito 1

BurritoBandito Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 @Pyrodoc: Why don't you just go out and buy a cheap rock tumbler to start with?
