jl88
Hey all. I recently placed an order for some hemispheres from http://www.diversehobbies.com/shop/ He included some freebies including a sample of antimony trisulfide 150g. Now I've never had access to this before and don't want to waste it testing compositions. Can I get opinions of people's favourites? I would prefer if there were videos to help show the composition. Thanks all

Jonathan
I have dark Sb2S3 and have found it accelerates some flash mixes, or at least seems to do so. I'm wary of it, because I don't know the extent to which it increases friction or impact sensitivity when combined with other chemicals. I do know not to mix it willy nilly with KClO3. On the other hand, I have mixed it (gently) successfully once with ingredients including NaClO3 (the result was a blindingly fast flash).
LambentPyro
Good formulas with Sb2S3 include Winokur stars. There is a ton of formulas from him you can try. There is a thread (http://www.amateurpyro.com/forums/topic/67-winokurs-40-glitter-compositions/) that includes feedback from each formula on the performance. Not all of them include Antimony Trisulfide, but the ones that do generally performed very nicely IIRC. I have dark Sb2S3 and have found it accelerates some flash mixes, or at least seems to do so.
