I really enjoy this website and Passfire, not only the current conversations but also going back and reading some old posts (a lot of this doesn't change greatly over a few years so most of them still apply.)

My questions are a) does fireworking.com have as much activity and history as these do? (I don't mind the membership fee if it is worth it.) and B) are there other sites out there like these that I am missing out on? (Other than PGi)

Thanks

Bart

Lol. My b ) turned into an emoticon, go figure.

I didn't think there was much traffic, but when I joined, there were many articles that would definitely help lots of people out, and the guys such as Lloyd (and Ned) are willing to reply to most threads. They seem to enjoy helping others out and enjoy having long conversations about the topic.

I like it and have learned a lot from joining.

Bart,

There is a growing number of posts each day on Fireworking.com website. I also have a membership on Passfire and like the extensive database it has. Between these three websites Fireworking seems to have the most posting activity on a daily basis. Recently Fireworking reached the five hundred member mark, which was a one year goal for Ned. Most of the posting is related to on-going projects and testing of new concepts.

Fireworking had 18 new posts starting since yesterday.

The other forum I check out with fair regularity is the one for the UK Pyro Society. It's not particularly active anymore, but the archives have a lot of good information. http://www.pyrosociety.org.uk/

I've heard mostly good things about fireworking, but am not yet personally a member. The archive isn't there yet but has plenty of quality members to answer basically any of your questions, or just chat about pyro.

Thanks for the info all, exactly what I was looking for and I will be sending Ned some dough.
