Need 2" paper ball shells

I'm not finding very many options out there. One place has high price with 1/4" holes in them, others are cheaper but have size issues.

I have 2" hdpe tubes. Thats 2" ID. So I need paper ball shells that are 1.75 OD with no holes. I use visco and like nice tight holes so I use an awl to make my own hole:) I admit it's been almost 2 years since I last bought any so would someone have some leads as to where I can get these like that?

Heres the pyrocreations item thats closest

http://www.pyrocreations.com/inc/sdetail/556/77170

seems these are going to be a tight fit after pasting, maybe too tight?

heres pyrodirect, they have the right size but shipping is 15 dollars for 2 sets(25sets) per set!

http://www.pyrodirect.com/Item/005-4012

I'm using 2" shells (4 layers pasting) from pyrodirect and shooting them from a dr-11 mortar (1.91") and they fit just fine

When you buy the shells, don't buy the ones that are lower in size. Buy the ones that say 2" because the 2" shells are actually a bit smaller. If you buy a 1.75" it would actually be 1.5". 2" shell would be 1-13/16". They make them that way so they will be close to 2" when your done pasting.

I buy my shells from cannon fuse.com and they come without holes, but I don't buy 2" shell so I wouldn't know about those.

For a 2" shell you will need a mould that is 1.5 - 1.75 in diameter. I'm not sure if a ping pong ball is that big, but I'm pretty sure it is smaller.

Maybe you should look into the vacum forming method for size size of shells.
