MrB Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Looks like it just left the mortar, and then blew up. If thats the case, the mortar should be fine.B!
burningRNX Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Did you find out what happened? looks like something I would know before using the same timing method on another one Huge Amount of effort Niladmirari, That first one was a nice Multi-petal.The second was nice too, but a little on the low side
Niladmirari Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Mortar fine. Explosion occurred 20 meters above the mortar.Less glue I think. In the future, I will glue epoxy resin, it is reliable. I hope next time will be better. http://yoursmileys.ru/tsmile/salut/t9305.gif

rogeryermaw Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Very nice! Symmetry on the pistil was much better on the second shell but both were quite pretty. Nature is truly inspiring! 1
braddsn Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Both shells were awesome! And I agree with Roger, the symmetry on the 2nd pistil was much better. For me, I find it hard to get my pistils symmetrical. I am still trying to figure that part out. Here is my shell with pistil I shot on the 4th of July. 6 inch shell. I wish my pistil had more symmetry. https://youtu.be/uIq2E8r07hk?t=23m 1
