best titanium for adding a tail

Hi guys I'm planning on buying some titanium (either from hobbychemicals or pyrochem) to add a tail to my colored stars and I would like to know what mesh and kind of titanium should I get...spherical 30-100 or 80-150 or titanium sponge 20-40 or 40-60

For adding to coloured stars I'd pick 40-60.

 

For Salutes I'd choose 20-40.

 

For Brocade/Kamuro I'd choose either 40-60 or 80-150, depending on requirements for fallout and hang time.
