I went down to the beach, the fuse wouldn't ignite due to the rain and the sand that went on it. I went down to the banks in hopes to light it again, to no avail. I then re-fused it and it failed again. I re-fused it again with two fuses and covered it from the rain very good, I was about to light it and my lighter wouldn't work as it was clogged with sand. I then FINALLY set it off and the tube explodes sending my junk mine in all directions. It probably got destroyed due to the tube being wet, it wasn't a killer amount of lift. It causes a loud noise, a lot of smoke and seemed to coincidentally make my neighbor's call my name out and my friend that was coincidentally walking home. I also got a nice share of criticisms from my family and some not very happy looks due to the loud noise and making them wet during the whole thing. All the colors looked superb though, trust me; I was behind it all. Particularly the purple doesn't look nice, but it's a lot better than depicted. Red = Seymour's RedBlue = Pihko Blue KP #2Purple = Yankie's PurpleOrange Streamer = TTGlitter? = D1 I think There's probably more crap in there, it was really just the container I had with all these random stars and I decided to finally get rid of them.

So of course, he didn't consult me, and all my tools are all over the place. I spent like 15 minutes looking for a screen yesterday 'cause he wasn't there to ask. And I have some rockets and headers, and I can't find my rocket sticks. Grrr!!

He was checking traps w/his dad, and some guy was turkey hunting. He saw movement (my friend), and instead of checking to see if it was a turkey, just popped off a shot. Got him right in the intestines, and they had to lifeflight him to Geisinger. Thank goodness he's going to live. The hunter guy is in big trouble, 'cause not only did he shoot someone, he also ran off after doing so, and came back later. On the other side of life, my physics teacher showed us a cool toy. Take a paint can, and make a cup at the bottom side of it. Insert a L-shaped pipe above it, pointing at the cup. Attach a rubber hose to the L, so that it comes out the side of the can. Fill the cup w/cornstarch, and put a lit candle into the middle of the can bottom. Push the lid tightly onto the can. Blow into the hose, which distributes the cornstarch, which then ignites. This sends up a gout of flame, and shoots the lid up 15 feet with a nice POP. It's like an airpowered indoor cremora. Anybody want drawings; I could upload some.And on the happy side of things, my friend is coming over on Monday to apply herself to pasting, and ramming, and smelling the smoke.

That's bullcrap, if I hurt someone on accident and didn't know what happened them, that would be pretty much the worst guilt I can imagine.I don't know if your friend had an intestinal resection, but I had one of those in 7th grade. I was in the hospital for 8 days from a car accident. Wasn't exactly a pleasant experience, but it certainly put life in perspective. I appreciate life a lot more now, and feel like I'm gonna enjoy my time on this planet if it kills me

Ventsi Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Thanks Ralph but this stuff is flash grade Ti, its a DARK Titanium powder, not the shaving and bits you would normally put into a fountain, which is what I had intended to buy. I have a tiny sample drying right now and will see how it handles for stuff.

And my mate was shot with a .308......They also suspect that the hunter was drinking too.....He's getting blood-alcohol tests.

Well, i have good news, Sulfamic Acid can be used to clean rust and limescale (much like Hydrochloric acid) its slightly safer. Its also used to make sweeteners like acesulfame potassium, and its also used to clean ceramics, and metals. And if you found the Ti too reactive, I would be happy to purchese it from you, saves me the trouble of having to order it at a later date.

Yup, be careful with that stuff. Sensetivity increases at high meshes with Ti IIRC. Would possibly make some scary flash, depending on the actual micron/particle shape.

My papa(grand father) Had to be rused to the emergancy room, he's now at the hospital, staying over night, maby alot longer. somthing is wrong with his leg. He's diabetic, and has had many operations on himself, in the past few years he has had a few toes removed from his afflicted leg(same leg as now), along with other stuff. recently he had his galblatter removed just a mounth or two ago. His leg is all red from the tip of his toe, to above his knee, had is suffering from terrable pain from it, he started to get sick just before turkey day. He may lose his leg. They say he has cellosius(SP?) and i guess he's on antibiotics. I hope he's alright......

Sulfamic acid is often sold by pyro chem vendors as a smoke mix. I've heard it makes *extremely* dense white smoke. However, the smoke is not healthy for you (most isn't).
