large mandarin red crackers

anybody know what these might use ?

looks like a large throw down snap in a tube

 

what do people reckon....silver fulminate on gravel

or an armstrongs like mix?

Those are what are refered to as "adult snaps" and are the S-fulminate type . The pop is a very nice one, and almost comparable to a black cat small firecracker

They're armstrongs, or a variation thereof. I have unraveled several and found them to contain red phosphorus.
