808goboom Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 How deep should the crosette cavity be on 1/2" crosettes.i made a homemade round shot crosette pump and am not sure how deep the cavity should be in order to get an adequate burn rate on the fragment stars.

Mumbles Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 My 1" round crossette pump has a cavity length of .6" for what it's worth. If you keep the same ratios, yours would be about .3" long. The length of the cavity really doesn't have any impact on the burn time, as the wall thickness is almost always thinner, and this will be what determines the burn time.
