weknowpyro Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 This is a joint entry again by me and Joe609. The first starmine was a 2" using about 20 blue stars and we used 20g of lift as the charge. http://www.apcforum.net/files/Bluestarmine.wmv The second starmine was again a 2" but this time it was using about 25 spider stars and we used 20g of lift as the charge. http://www.apcforum.net/files/spiderstarmine2.wmv
bereal511 Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Very cool, I liked the blue stars. They were very distinct. What was the composition?
weknowpyro Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 The blue star compostion was off pfp database. Phiko- Potassium Perchlorate - 63gBlack copper oxide - 13gParlon - 14gRed Gum - 10g Cut,rolled or pumped Solvent - 33% alcohol These stars seem quite crumbly when wet to begin with but after about 1-2 weeks drying they are solid. Prime is not needed but i added one anyway just in case they failed to ignite in the starmine.
