Two 2" Mine Entrys

This is a joint entry again by me and Joe609.

 

The first starmine was a 2" using about 20 blue stars and we used 20g of lift as the charge.

The second starmine was again a 2" but this time it was using about 25 spider stars and we used 20g of lift as the charge.

Very cool, I liked the blue stars. They were very distinct. What was the composition?

The blue star compostion was off pfp database.

Potassium Perchlorate - 63g

Black copper oxide - 13g

Parlon - 14g

Red Gum - 10g

 

Cut,rolled or pumped

 

Solvent - 33% alcohol

 

These stars seem quite crumbly when wet to begin with but after about 1-2 weeks drying they are solid. Prime is not needed but i added one anyway just in case they failed to ignite in the starmine.
