What RPM are you running on those? Do you need to change the RPM as the star size changes?
mikeee Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Pyrokid, Both of these machines were modified with a polymer bushing that drives the drum. The original gear that drives the drum is removed and a polymer bushing replaces the gear, so they are basically using a rubber wheel that turns the drum. There are several tutorials that show the parts that are needed and how to modify the cement mixers. They both run at about 48 RPMS. You can always adjust the angle of the drum which changes the action on the stars as they gain in size.
