VikingPyrotechnics Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hi Guys, that´s my first Dola. I was pretty happy with my first try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6w0VxaLAnZI VP
fredhappy Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Nice first wheel. I'd suggest pressing a bit more fuel in the endburners. I use 60 grams of hot 70-18-12 fuel in 19.7 mm endburners. Nevertheless, well done. I've made some girandolas too, I've taped them. I'll see if I can upload them. Well done, thanks for sharing.
VikingPyrotechnics Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Yes that's right.Since it was my first attempt, I made that short motors, becauseI did not know if it works at all.
fredhappy Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 They are great things. Loaaaads of work, but ever so cool. Mine also had the horizontal drivers , just as yours. I'll see if I can upload the clip this week. I can suggest glitter drivers or comets, those are very nice and give an almost alien look to the dola. Don't get me wrong, well done man!..
VikingPyrotechnics Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 No problem, happy to listen to criticism. This brings new ideas and to learn more.I also thought to attach glitter fountains on the next Dola. Let's see when I get to it.
dan999ification Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Nice work, do you have any build pics or more details, my dolas nearly always chase me while I try different arrangements of angles and drivers. Dan.

No great effort and built simple. Edited April 30, 2013 by VikingPyrotechnics
Bobosan Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Looks like the bottom of a gallon jug/bucket for the base. Great idea and nice dola for a first time attempt.
VikingPyrotechnics Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Thank you. Yes, I used the bottom of a small bucket.
dan999ification Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 It's upside down thanks its easy enough to understand. The angle of the motors surprises me a bit being nearly vertical but make sense since most of the spin comes from a different motor. Thankyou, hopefully I won't get chased around anymore. Dan.
