kpknd Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Does this cause any diference in the prformance of potassium nitrate? Some has it and some does'nt.
mikeee Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 The less junk in your chemical's the more accurate you mix ratio's will be.You never really know what percentage of anti-cake is added in a product without analysis. It is easy enough to ball mill or use a coffee grinder to powder your chemicals. You can also run your chemicals thru a fine screen prior to mixing.
Algenco Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I don't like anything in my comps that aren't needed.Anti cake is a convienience I can do without
TritonPyro Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I always buy pyro grade nitrate that is so fine it clumps. I had some from a garden centre that was free flowing and made great lift. The only problem was after I trolled a magnet through it, there were small pieces of metal.
