If I want to creat sliding effect from left to right( it depends on position of shell in sky when fired)

how do I arrange stars in hemispheres? do I need to make kraft paper compartments in hemisphere? ( total 8 partitions)

Plan is to use follwing stars.

I believe this video is from an employee from that factory, but here's how they are arranged. I do not know if these are ghost stars or not, but you do get an idea of how they are arranged.

Notice the gaps, those can be fixed by stuffing crumpled up paper or cotton in them.

p.s. I don't know why the video is bigger than my screen😭

Likely someone is now really anti any star rolling for years. Some of those stars must have been rolled in batches of five so that's an awful large number of batches to fill a 6 or 8" shell.

Thank you.

It seems hard to judge if it is ghost star or just a normal star. Sounds a regular shell after seeing footage.

No problem!

The main takeaway from that video was the "rings" of stars that the fireworker has placed. I like the way it is edited because he takes a picture after adding every ring. Usually they do 6 segments (timings). Splitting the shell into halves, three segments would be on each side. 3 rings would make up for the first segment at the bottom, then 2 for the next, and another 2 for the final segment of that hemi up to the lip.
