Potassiumchlorate Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Nice one. Just don't hurry so much when you fire stuff. Take it easy
val77 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) yes, but I was afraid that the rocket failed x) i need a more hot fuel, for a super speed rocket Edited January 16, 2013 by val77
dan999ification Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 ive done my share of running, 7-10 inches of visco solves that. The engine could probably lift more especially if you used hotter fuel, my 10mm endburners lift up to 35g reasonably high. Dan.
val77 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 yes, but the sparkler just ignite the base of the core is not totaly ignited core
dan999ification Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 i dont like the sparkler idea for lighting pyro, a premature ignition is in the midst as they throw sparks. My 10mm cored rocket lifts over 40g with visco ignition ( only the base of the core is lit )Piped match is an option for more power before you tweak the fuel but you'll still need visco unless you have a foot of bm exposed even then you only get a 10-12 second ''walk'' to safety Dan.
Potassiumchlorate Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 When I was a kewl, I almost killed myself when using a sparkler as a fuse. That was a bigger thing than a 14mm rocket though, but try to get real visco, val.
