lightningale Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 The dust is everywhere. Including a big 2 gallon bucket in my work truck. after a quick search,I see that it can have many interesting functions, can anyone suggest something above and beyond I can use it for (as in a reccomended star ar fountian comp?) I'm looking for something UNUSUAL to try. Any suggestions?
Von Bass` Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Sorry, I had a look through all the compositions that I had, and the only matches were using 'hemp coal' in H3 and such like. There was one priming composition that used a tiny amount of 'coal dust', but thats not really very unusual or interesting. Perhaps do a bit of experimenting? Try it in place of lampblack in some fountain formulas?
FrankRizzo Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 You may want to ask over in rec.pyrotechnics. Bob Forward did some experiments with lignite and anthracite.
