romanv Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) hello my kclo3 is very clumped and i don't have a screen or mill so can i put it in a mixer? Edited January 3, 2013 by romanv
h0lx Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 While it is pure, I see no problem, make sure your mixer is clean and keep fuels away.
Shadowcat1969 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 You can use something like a small coffee grinder, as long as you don't use that grinder for any other chemicals that might cause contamination or have incompatibilities. As in: don't use the same coffee grinder for KClO3 and fuels.
Mumbles Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 How do you mix compositions without a screen? Just stirring almost always leads to inferior integration and results.
pyrojig Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Use a window screen or a kitchen colander. They are a cheap and easy to obtain item
