Algenco Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 sharpee I think there is something in dowloads for making labels
Seymour Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 And fourth... though at times I make joke imitation imported ones and print them off.
NightHawkInLight Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 There's a free image editing program called paint.net that can be downloaded from the website by the same name. Sketch out some labels, print them, and tape or glue to the rockets. They'll be looking sharp.
dagabu Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) I use a Sharpie for most and Photoshop when I want something really special. Dave Edited January 3, 2013 by dagabu
pyrojig Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Ah, the 'good ol sharpie' Gets the job done every time.
nater Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 It is a brand name of a permanent marker. I prefer the ultra fine point one.
AirCowPeacock Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I use sharpie and write my 'secret code' on it! What do you think this means: 1.5 π 2IR t GW2
val77 Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 ok i can use adhesive paper and note the caracteristics on it ?
Mumbles Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Yes, that should work fine. Adhesive labels should stick to the paper surface fairly well. I prefer to just write on the surface of the shell, or attach a tag to the lowering strap if I'm at PGI or have other decorations on the shell. Typically I only build a few larger shells at a time, so it's easy to keep track of what's what. Quality over quantity and all that.
dagabu Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 ok i can use adhesive paper and note the caracteristics on it ? Look in the gallery, others make printed adhesive labels for their shells. I love a nice printed label, they look so sharp. -dag
