flying fish Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Has anyone ever tried this? I did a test today where I drilled a 1/16" hole about an inch down through the axis of rigid core time fuse (this was "special" stuff that Unckle Buck sold to me a couple years ago), inserted a piece of skinny blackmatch, put a miniature nosing on it with a few more strands of skinny blackmatch, and crossmatched the other end. It did work quite well with the timing I wanted and gave a good spray of fire at the pass fire end. I thought it was an interesting way to potentially combine some of the advantages of spoilettes and time fuse, but I haven't yet tested the method for reliability (or durability). Thoughts?
