AlexPyro66 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Very good cases they must be very strong.
Col Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 Cheers Alex,They`re just as rigid as a strawboard hemi. Here`s a few different sizes with a 2" round shell for comparison.
AlexPyro66 Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 For bigger sizes is hard to find a hole saw what should i use? The 2'' shell i dont think it needs spiking
taiwanluthiers Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I thought for the larger sizes you just use a case former to make a case with that?
AlexPyro66 Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 (edited) Yes but i like this way very much Edited November 14, 2012 by AlexPyro66
Mumbles Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 It's a different way to make canister shells. I've seen Chinese canister shells, they are made this way instead of the traditional rolled case. They also use machine rolled canisters instead of hand rolled cylinder casings.
Hoppy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Wish I saved all the newspaper that no longer comes to the house, or picked up a ton free when the press died and a few local newspapers went under...look like a great idea and I may have to go hunting around the neighborhood.
