3" shells

I bought some 3" shells from Pyro Creations and i noticed they did'nt have the leader hook on them. What do i do tape the leader to the top of the shell?

That's very strange. You bought plastic shells and they didn't come with leader hooks? Because mine did when i ordered them last time

my guess is he got paper shells

if so then they don't have it you have to put them on after pasting

paste a strip over the leader, you can even tape it if you dont care how it looks, or tie a small loop of string and paste that in with the last few layers.

There plastic a matter of fact they also sent me 2smooth round half's and shoted me 1 w/1/4" fuse hole. Here is the link where i bought them. http://www.pyrocreations.com/inc/sdetail/556/561

drill a fuse hole just under size and work the fuse in, paste over the fuse hole and fill with hot glue, if you have odd pairs.

That wont work Dan. Plastic comes as matched sets. One half has a male lip, and the other half has a female lip. Two of the same type do not snap together the same.

 

Dynomyke, my experience has been good with pyrocreations. It was probably an honest mistake with the two round halves, and missing one fused half. The description of the 4" and 6" versions says that it includes a "ring and washer set", which sounds like they do have leader hooks, and this washer that goes around the time fuse to reinforce it though. The 3" does not have this in it's description, so it probably isn't supposed to come with one.
