Very nice tools and amazing Hi-Res pics. What kind of clay are you using?

Should have reduced the image size.......using clay kitty litter w/oil

Have also used sawdust with wood glue/water binder...rock hard

Nice job on that tooling .

I have made a set like that for spolettes and this style for pressing a piece of visco inside.

nicest part is if the fuse is cut the same length the timing is perfect everytime.

Anyone willing to send me a sample tube I will make them a set.

$20 for aluminum

$30 for brass

Up to 11/4 ID tube slightly more if any larger.

One other thing you notice is the plug is recessed inside that's because after you press the plug and fuse you can press a rising tail while its still on the tool

One rammer with a fuse hole and flat faced rammer.

Just send me a personal message.

Hi Dean

A tube extender is quite useful for pressing tail comps flush with the tube. You can vary the thickness of the tail comp by moving the clay plug location to maximise the space in the tube for stars. Some tail comps burn faster than others so they need to be a bit thicker.
