TheSidewinder Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Coca-Cola bottled in Mexico. They use real Cane Sugar, none of that Beet Sugar or HFCS shit. Heaven in a bottle. (It's just like the Coca-Cola here from 50 years ago. Try it if you haven't!)
NightHawkInLight Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Strange isn't it that you have to go to a country that's less wealthy than our own to drink something that has actual sugar in it, because that would be too expensive to have here. You can't so much as buy a can of tomato soup anymore without it being loaded with HFCS. Maybe that's the downfall of capitalism, that people begin to worship a low price over the cost of quality. I'm about to go grab an Arcadia beer of one kind or another from the fridge.
Potassiumchlorate Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 Absolut Vodka is cheaper in foreign countries than it is in Sweden, though that has to do with our semi-communist alcohol policy.
mikeee Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 If the crap keeps hitting the fan, I might want a shot of cyanide.Hope the world finds a little sanity this next year.

flying fish Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 That Mexican made sucrose sweetened glass bottled coke!
OneEyeCharlie Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 A little aside re: cane sugar Coke. During Passover, look for Coke 2 liters with a yellow cap. They're made with cane sugar as to be kosher for Passover. Secondly, the Coke bottlers throughout the country are run independantly from each other. The one that serves the Cleveland area uses cane sugar year round. We always stock up when going out to Pennsylvania to visit family.
flying fish Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Thanks for the tip, perhaps I'll pick some up in Cleveland on my way to PGI next summer. I'll set up a stand in the vending area and charge exorbitant prices for bottles of Cleveland coke!
Mumbles Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 On tap for this evening is a Revolution Brewing Rise (american stout) and maybe Firestone Walker Brewing Wookey Jack.
