roketman21 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 The pasting looks exceptional from other hand pasted shells I have seen very nice can't wait to see the performance of it.
AdmiralDonSnider Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 That looks like a very nice piece of craftsmenship, BJV. Seems like you took a close look in Shimizu as well as some of karlos youtube videos, didn´t you? Shimizu method differs somewhat as he uses an inner hemi made from kraft paper only. I never got any larger than 4" so far. Can´t wait to see your results!
SoundColorfulBird Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 VERY nice, Barry. Good craftsmanship. I look forward to the video very much, as I can't make it to the Quincy Shoot.. I'm going to have to get that book by Dr. Shimizu. Thanks for sharing! Jim

BJV Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 So, how did the shoot go? Do you have a video? Id really like to see how it preformed! Our shoot in Sept was great, most all of my shell worked just great. The 12" I have not video.I was shot over a 1/4 mile away. The main stars were not dry and did not work very well. The inter blue petalworked great.BJV
