BrainDamage Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Many, if not most, European suppliers sell worldwide, unlike *cough cough* the American ones, who often don't even sell to Alaska and Hawaii.Yes and WHY wtf
Mumbles Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Probably either because european suppliers have more relaxed shipping regulations, or more likely they're just more willing to break the law. For what it's worth, visco can be shipped to hawaii and alaska, it's just more of a hassle and takes a long time.
amateurpyro1 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I am looking for fireworks fuse and I can't find any NZ suppliers, what should I do?
schroedinger Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Maybe talk to leedrill or some of the other oz/nz guys about international suppliers
amateurpyro1 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I really need fuse, does anyone know where to buy it in NZ. Also, what are the names of those European suppliers?
MrB Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 or more likely they're just more willing to break the law.Generally speaking, they shrug of customs losses as the buyers problem. (ok, truth be told, they try and accommodate you if there is losses, but it only goes so far) And since customs cant nail the buyer for how stuff is shipped, but wont bother with trying to go after the seller in a different country, it's pretty much risk free. Where as getting nailed for a illegal shipment when it passes customs anywhere in the world, and being tracked back to the US is a much higher risk. I think that is the reason, but that is of course just speculation.B!
LiamPyro Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Speaking of cardboard tube suppliers, does anyone know where I can order tiny paper ball shell hemispheres, with about a 1 inch diameter? Or, is there an effective way to make them?
Mumbles Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Pyrodirect carries something about that size. http://www.pyrodirect.com/Category/BallShellCasings
