do you think there wold be enough friction generated coating

a wire with carborundum fine grit, and pulling this through a

chlorate/ antimony trisulphide/ charcoal pellet, to provide ignition ?

 

suppose its suck it and see

red p is reliable (although sometimes tricky to coat the wire properly)

 

would prefer a non phosporus system
