graumann Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) I was wonder if anyone can give me any pointers on how I would be supposed to wire in this relay to use it as a switch. The situation is I wish to use the relay AQY272 to switch on a 1.5V permanent power supply triggered by a 1.61V 110mA hydropowered dyno. From what I believe I understood I could have had the permanent supply on pins 3 & 4 triggered by the current going from pin 1 to 2. Have I made a mistake? I only have the vaguest idea how these photoMOS relays work http://pewa.panasoni...age-catalog.pdf Edited April 29, 2012 by graumann
Nessalco Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Pins 1 & 2 are your trigger, as you thought. Must be properly polarized. graumann Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 Cheers for that Kevin, maybe there is something else I have forgotten about, the trigger current should be sufficient if I read the specs right.
