End cap problem...

Firstly i know that here is not a forum for rocketry... but anyway i will make this topic cause i need some help...

I was trying to make High J - low K class motor, with 7 bates grains under 230 KN,

I most of times have problem with the end cap....burned threw... broke.... e.t.c.

I tried one with 5 bates (mid J) and i had successfully seal the end from the flame by making a small hole at the end cap, and pouring inside cement.

Today i tried the same but with 7 bates with the same throat (High J - low K) (unfortunately i can not change the throat diameter)

The pressure weas pushing the dry cement at the end and finally the end cap broke and put out the cement... The engine fails

Where exactly on the cap is it bursting? If it is the top then maybe a paste of clear Epoxy can solve that, If that doesn't work use the a thicker layer metalic epoxy.

Send motor specs too, please. Maybe you have reached the limit of PVC
