dan999ification Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 here is a mine i made for nye, http://youtu.be/HCryTDe2qb4it used a piston, 30g of lift [that i thought was poor quality]100g of red and blue tipped ti streamers, the inserts were 35mm bombettes they weighed 65g each had ti tails and 2.5-2.7 sec delay with red tipped ti stars inside, the breaks were different, one had just bp on seed one had 2g of f and unprimed 16# de's and the other 3g of f and nothing in the gaps between the stars, you can tell which is which.overall quite pleased with this one comments are appreciated. dan.

dan999ification Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 thanks, just got to upload photo's of the bombettes now . dan.
dan999ification Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 here are some construction pics and some questions. if you see the video, when the bombettes break the first one is the bp on seed the stars all lit fine and were considerably brighter than the rest, but didnt spread very far the other two the stars looked dimmer/less dense in the tail but no real difference from eachother it seems that the break either did not light them evenly as they saw less fire or threw them too fast and the air is altering the colour even though they are not moving that much faster than the first, i can rule out the camera being overwhelmed because the bp break was ok what do you think?it would be nice to dial these in as they are quite impressivedan.
dan999ification Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Thanks, its been said that I don't know about mines Dan.
Jordan123 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 (edited) Realy ? No, your mine is very good ! Edited May 12, 2013 by Jordan123
Oinikis Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 i know, you might not remember, but i do not quite understand, between rammed streamer/delay and break you have clay plug with fuse in it?
dan999ification Posted May 19, 2013 Author Posted May 19, 2013 The fusing method is called Captive visco, rammed with a simple wooden dowel. In this size 1 gram of clay gives 1mm, I used about 18g.The tail is not really a delay but does ignite the visco. The comp is ( leftover ) veline blue with 20% ti made into a slurry with acetone and poured/ buttered into the empty space, there was about 15mm of tail comp which burns fast and only adds a fraction of a second extra to the clay delay.Hope this makes sense, any questions or explanations please feel free to ask. Dan.
