skyisthelimitinc
In this vid you will see the photo from the nice spiraling tail been captured on a caduceus rocket design, these pics is what i used to copy the design, i tried 5% FeTi in one of the drivers, the spiral is there, but filming from under it isnt the best angle to see it

derekroolz
Oh I forgot to tell evryone this, But a few comments ago there were some very inapropriate messages put on this thread by my profile, I would just like to let everyone know that my account was being used by one of my friends that wanted some information. So I let him get on my account and ask some questions. Obviously he ended up doing something completely uncalled for. I am sorry for any disturbance I caused to anyone

JrayJ
Well that was pretty much the most random post I've seen on the forum...Has nothing to do with rocket's..nor rocket's you made...Or even you for that matter...MOD'S? do you think ya should start a place for double extra random post? derekdroolz...I dont know about you..Personally...I think this might not be the forum you're looking for...Anyway..JrayJ...that sucker kinda liked hanging out where it was for a second..But once it left..it was outta there! You said you had a smoke header on it? Yeah I did, just kinda something I threw together at the last second, as I was more concerned about seeing if it would fly straightish... I'm going to make a few more of these when I get a chance with assorted headers now that I know they'll fly...

dagabu
First, the failure. A 6 rocket cluster that failed to pass fire to the second stage, a contest winner if it had worked The rest, well, are interesting. dagabu
HAHA love the last one, it is like a dual firework, first a rocket then a fountain..... I have the same problem anyway those were some really good rockets. Do you press or ram? I guess I need to explain them a little. The first is six 4" 3# rockets designed to raise the second stage to 100' and light it. No passfire The size of the plume from 100' was amazing! It had to be 3' across. The rest with the exception of the last are reclaimed spiral would 3M tape cores that I harvest from a dumpster and all have fuse powder and various percentages of charcoal added to slow the burn down. The CATOs are 10% and the ones that flew are 20%. They are all 6" rockets. The last is an end burner using 100% fuse powder and was not expected to lift off, I thought it would CATO. I like to call it end burner to gerb D Sorry: I press EVERYTHING, I don't even have a hammer in my shop. WonderBoy
This one was a bit of a failure. I made 3 others identical to this that I shot off right away and they worked beautifully. This one was in a ziploc bag with a silica gel packet for about a month and it lost quite a bit of power and made the delay a lot longer then it should have been. The header was a 3" can with organic red and Win 26 stars, unfortunately it landed on the other side of the tree line. It was 1lb BP cored. WonderBoy
This is what that last rocket was supposed to look like. Except this one only had a kraft tube on top to dump out the stars. Win. 26 and D1. Glitter Rocket.AVI
