Augy Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hi,nothing on lithium chloride or carbonate ? produced nice violet colors. I Have not located formulas for them.
Adrenaline Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Since almost all Li(I)-compounds (like LiCl) are very hygroscopic they aren't used in pyro.Lithium carbonate is the exception, because it's not as hygroscopic. It might be usable but it's still very expensive in comparison to say strontium carbonate. In terms of color purity I can't really comment, since I have never used Li-salts in pyro.
