ballmill Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Hey guys, I've been pressing 1 lb BP motors and lately I've been getting wrinkles around the case, but very minor. I'm wondering if these wrinkles translate to the inside of the motor and may cause CATO. I'm wrapping the motor with poster board before putting it in my PVC sleeve because my new NEPT tubes are slightly undersize.

Imagine the thrust phase of the burn and the tube straightening out just slightly, enough to crack the grain... I would wrap another turn of poster-board around them and tighten the clamps some more than back off on the pressure by 1000lpi. See if that helps any. -dag
