toster Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Ok, So I have made almost all of the turbo pyro stuff. I have a ball mill, and have gotten some pretty fast BP compared to Gorex it is hard to tell the difference. I have a Arbor press (modified for pyro use) and a 6 ton press. I have learned a lot with the turbo pyro book, but now where? I am thinking the red rubber stars from the skylighter article, and I was going to make some strobe pots, just because I like them. But, then what? Maybe some bigger rockets? What do you guys suggest? I don't mind adding chemicals to my arsenal, but would like versatile ones that I can use in a couple different projects, like Gerbs, and Stars.
SjeefOne Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 You could start making a little bit bigger shells (not sure what the size in TP is, would go up an inch at a time), and bigger rockets is a good step IMO.

I suggest that you work to perfect some shells, perfect all aspects of them, making the stars, burst etc. Being well rounded is good but I wish I had just focused on one aspect and not tried to be the jack of all trades. There are few things that have the WOW factor of a well made ball shell IMHO. Look at Freaky's icon, wouldn't you like to make a shell like that? I know I would. -dag Edited May 17, 2011 by dagabu
