I've had pretty good success with this comp:

 

46% - potassium perchlorate

18% - bright aluminum (300-400 mesh)

14% - granular aluminum (50-100 mesh)

14% - spherical titanium

8% - dextrin

I've even added an extra 7% to both the bright AL and Ti and removed the granular AL all together since I ran out of it. The effect was still pleasing.
