ballmill Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I'm interested in making two different stars using the following formulas- potassium perchlorate 8.75strontium carbonate 6.25magnalium 200 mesh 3.5parlon 3.25red gum 1.75dextrin 1.25 potassium perchlorate 55black copper oxide 15parlon 15red gum 9magnalium 200 mesh 6Dextrin 4 First, are these formulas suitable for cutting or rolling? And also, I'm guessing I bind with water/alc? Thanks in advance.

Other than the odd one, if a formula has dextrin in it, then water is the solvent. Some people add alcohol (me included) to speed drying and make absorption easier.
