Mumbles Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I lucked out and have specially milled barium nitrate. Generally though, I will mill coarse chemicals until a fine powder and use as is. I had the screens to actually do the grading, but you really only need to do it once to ensure you're getting good pulverizing. A member here does, or used to, mill his already fine perc to the point 100% of it passed 200 mesh for some uses. I don't know if we ever screened it before milling, but it definitely felt finer (if that is possible) after milling.
