Peret Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 That was cool. I haven't seen that effect before, it must depend on the particle size of the aluminum. What was the Skylighter CH number? I have some CH0155 mixed firefly but it doesn't give that effect.
thunderboy Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 the firefly i got from skylighter is CH0150 this was really a good effect
Guest no6 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 It looked great. Sweet effect. And thanks for the formula.
Peret Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 the firefly i got from skylighter is CH0150 this was really a good effectHmm, 10-12 mesh? I would have passed over that thinking it was too coarse to be any use, and too expensive at $22/pound to find out. I learn something new every day.

I learn something new every day. We just finished a group buy for S101 and S102 firefly over on Passfire, it was less then half that price and when mixed together, the effect is rather stunning. A membership over there is worth every penny.

I cant get the image of this type of Al from skylighter. Is your product somewhat like this:http://www.keten.com.pl/flitter.jpg On the image there is Al flitter from http://www.keten.com.pl and it is - 1000um 79% ; 2000um 21%.
