SingularisMalefactor Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I have a number of bags of small crystals, and I've looked up the chemicals and what they're used for, but I haven't found anything on whether they would do anything if mixed with other pyrotechnic chemicals. Here they are: Potassium Aluminum Sulfate, KAl(SO4)2 Monoammonium Phosphate, NH4H2PO4 Potassium Chromium Sulfate, KCr(SO4)2 I just want to know if these would kill a firework, or what effect they would have on it.
Ralph Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 first one nope but makes lovely crystalssecond one probably not and dangerous with chlorate'sthrid one makes lovely crystals and is compatible with the top one for making crystals (surprisingly) so you can control the colour (well darkness)
Mumbles Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I think the only use you will find is the monoammonium phosphate. It has sparing use as a fireproofing agent, perhaps for parachutes.
