Arte valdo Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Haha no they don't neither do I. This is a common starplate from china. Many chinese factories use these plates. So you want to say now every one buy from chine? Sorry but my home made star plate is much more better that this chine crap if you want buy, it's your's decision peace friend
pogue1000 Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Used the plate this weekend and it fit my needs for now. I was able to make some 1/2" stars pretty quickly. Its definitely a budget tool but I think definitely worth the price for someone who doesnt want to spend the money on a wolter plate, or not able to make there own. One of the pins is loose but I will glue it back in here soon. I was very happy with it for the price since I am just a beginner in the hobby!
ExplosiveCoek Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Yeah, I heard a lot of people complain about these plates. Loose pins (all of them :/?), holes to wide etc. etc.
SjeefOne Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Hi, I have both the chinese plate and a wolter plate and I must say, the wolter plate is well worth the money. It works waaay faster because of the more exact fit and (better, oposed to none) surface-treatment. Just my Eur 0.02.
