Wiley Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I thought I'd rather dig up an old thread than start a new one. I was simply wondering whether or not replacing the SGRS in KP burst with dextrin will negatively affect it performance.
Seymour Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 No, it will still be very good. It is quite expected for people to swap SGRS to Dextrin in Shimizu's formulas, to the point that it's common not to even bother mentioning the substitution.
Niladmirari Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Hello. After examining table a question. Can be used burst charge KClO4+C (70/30) for 12 inch shell? Or only need ВР? Thanks for the answer

Mumbles Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Actually, the other burst can be fine for some 12" shells. I'd prefer BP though.
MrB Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 No, you would just use bp, the other burst will be too hot.Just use more filler. Going to be a pita to get the balance right. BP is easier. Speaking of which, i need to start storing away chems for the future, since pretty much everything is turning illegal... Damn, not even kno3 will be available easy.B!
