I'm sorry sir but based on book 2 it says "this is the 2nd book to bear the title "best of AFN". That tells me there was a book 1.

OMG!!!!

Sir?!? LOL, am I getting that old?

There are four best of AFN books out right now, II, III, IV & V. I think it is mentioned in the opening of book III that the first two books are now one in book II.

When you get done reading all four, go back and read them again, and again, and again. I have been reading them for some time now and I still find "new" stuff all of the time.

The first AFN came out in 1985. It was just called "THE BEST OF AFN"

I do have a couple of articles I wrote in THE BEST OF AFN ll.

Here is a photo of the cover of the first AFN:

Oh... that's very cool! I searched all over the place but I couldn't find anything on there being a first AFN. Edited by Gunzway

WOW! I have never seen that one before. A rare treasure for sure.

Did you do the double voice crackers article? I love that one.

Well that answers my question, thank you

I got this message on Ebay

No, there is a Best of American Pyrotechnist. I sell it. This was the founding publication that AFN took over and renamed.
