laser200 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Ok.. I know Im burning up the forum but I have another green question. I plan on making a lot more shells for next year and would like to get a much earlier start. So how long can you store a shel?. Most of mine are organic and will have flash boost on rice hulls which kinda concerns me. Can you store these types of chemical combinations for say a year? Thanks...
Mumbles Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 It depends what is in them. You could probably store them that long. If I were you, I'd save the glitters and things with nitrates/aluminum for the end of manufacture, or store them somewhere humidity can't get to them. Keep legal and safe storage requirements in mind.
laser200 Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 You know that's a good point. I think Ill just get all my organic stars made and store them. I was told they will do ok. i really dont have an appropriate storage facility so maybe completed shells hanging around is a bad idea. I think Im just going to get an earlier start next time. I waited too late this last time and ended up in a hurry on some things. Plus it was my first year. Learned a lot so maybe next time it wont be so bad.
