jwitt Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Well, all the help I've gotten here has started to pay off- put up my first 3" shell with junky "Swisher Long Hangtime Willow" stars. Wow! Seeing it work was great motivation to really get down to business on my project. Bigger and better than I could have imagined! Loud (with only a gram or so of whistle booster)! Symmetrical! Nice looking stars that really are long-hangtime! I had some time fuse issues- but I was using the cheap chinese stuff, so I'm moving to a spolette for my next test shell. Oh- and my red alder BP is looking REALLLLY nice too! "The thing beginner pyros need to learn" is pretty much in my pocket- that stuff is fairly fast burning and leaves no slag and very little ash- if I could press and corn it, I'd have nice sporting powder that would produce very little fouling. Anyway, I'm not gonna say "I couldn't have done it without yall" but it sure as hell would have been a LOT harder! I'll have video of the second tester for ya. Edited May 10, 2010 by jwitt
